Madre!

I hope you liked it(: I started crying hearing about grandpa crying :( haha Sorry I haven't been asking many questions... We've only had a little bit of time to write. But how's everyone been? Has the cat taken over my room?? hahah Does the dog miss me? I know you guys miss me. Carmel french toast sound delicious right now. We got sack lunches for Christmas dinner... sooo.. you know.  I wish I could watch White Christmas, but at least we watched it before I left haha. And I probably can't  go out to dropbox till I'm in Florida... They've blocked practically everything on here.. hahaha

But yeah, I'm having a good time! I love my district, like you've heard. They're all hilarious! But it get's kinda bad sometime because we're all really like talking so personal study isn't as effective as it should be.. hahah. But I still love them. Elder Wilbert is our district leader and is the nicest funniest guy in the world. Elder Smith.. Just straight funny. Elder Galovich.. Awkward which makes him funny. Elder Pulotu- Just loud and fun. Elder Curtis- Super quiet but when he does talk he's hilarious or his thoughts are super powerful. Sister Latham- so fun and enthusiastic. Sister Robinson- So nice, kinda quiet but like Elder Curtis when she does talk it's either really funny or really powerful. My companion Sister Egbert is seriously my brain. I'll be like "where did I leave my key card?!" And she'll tell me exactly where it is. I'm definitely the most disorganized in the room... hahaha. But our room is so clean!! The other rooms I've seen are kinda gross (dorm rooms that is).. hahah

But I seriously am learning so much here! It can definitely be overwhelming at times. But it's awesome.. It's like I'm learning so much that I forget everything I've learned growing up... It gets kind of annoying sometimes. Because I'm focusing so hard on what I've learned I forget to add what I already know... haha. But it's good. My knowledge of everything has grown ten fold... It's pretty cool. My Heavenly Father definitely helps me out a lot. Especially when teaching. It's insane how much the spirit can guide you! I can't even explain it. I love it so freaking much. But I still have a lot of work to do... That's for sure.. I'm really bad at focusing, but if I start to really focus, I know everything will go a lot better for me... So pray for me that I can focus in class and really really study! haha

Prayer is seriously the best. I love it. I'm constantly praying... It helps so much throughout the day. And not even for myself. I pray for a lot of boys in my district.

Elder Bednar came and spoke to us yesterday! It was amazing. But he did Q&A. Guess how he did it. TEXTING! They passed out cell phones and gave us a number to text in. It was super cool haha. Everyone was like "TECHNOLOGY!" but he was like " Don't even think about texting home... if you do I will find you and do bad things to you." His exact words. He's hilarious. I've seen other talks of his while I've been here and he's so funny! He's always so serious during conference. But he involved his wife in it too. It was a really powerful meeting. Crazy how much you can feel the spirit while you're here.

But I want you guys to know how much I really really really love you!! Thanks for being so supportive and thanks for all the gifts and goodies(: I loooovveee yoouuuu!!!!!

MOMMY! (and Dad and Zach and Kass)

Sister Egbert is from like... 4 blocks away from here hahah.

But seriously... You have no idea how much I absolutely LOVE my district!! They're seriously some of my closest friends. Me, Sis Egbert, Sis Robinson and Latham (They're in my district and my roomies) were talking about how well we know everyone and feel closer to them after knowing each other for a week than people we've known for years. I seriously have never felt such a strong love for people that I, in reality, barely know. And it's my whole branch really.. Our branch only has my district and another so we're all way tight! But they leave next week :( sad day. So yes we really do leave the 7th.. With the holidays and what not stuff happened so they needed a couple branches to stay longer and they did it by room number... So we're the lucky ones that get to stay an extra week! And also the district going to Jacksonville! So I get to fly out with them(: haha

And only one of my teachers is single Bro Hartshorn. We both went to MV! Crazy right? And we have A LOT of the same friends haha.. He actually dated Betty for a bit.. We think the other is proposing to his girlfriend soon because he was super on edge yesterday hahaha.

I seriously... Have been on overload... You learn SO much. I'm so grateful on so many levels I don't have to deal with a language.. I'm stressed out as it is! hahah But I love it here. And my first few days were the easiest! The past couple days have been a little harder.. But not really that bad. I freaking love the MTC... And the food is definitely not as miraculous as Jameson said it would be.... hahahaha. I like the chocolate milk and the raspberry lemonade...

I've been singing in the choir! I love it so much! You have no idea how much I miss music... And I feel the spirit so much when I sing! I swear half the mtc is trying to get into choir so you have to get there way early if you want a seat. But we've been having so many devotionals! Today we have an apostle coming! Not sure which one?? Everyone is betting it's Holland and that's what the adults keep hinting at so I'm super stoked! 

I really don't know how people don't like the MTC. Our room had THE BEST Christmas eve last night haha. We built a fort and put mattresses down and all slept there ... Let's just say we weren't exactly obedient when it came to bed time last night.. hahah. But it was Christmas eve! It's an exception right?? We read out of Luke, so that makes up for the time we went to bed... hahah. But we were also slipping notes to the sisters next door, they're in our branch. It was hilarious. I'll send you pictures tomorrow. I only have 20 minutes today and they asked us not to upload pictures. But tomorrow is my P Day so I will have pleannnnttyy of time haha.

But I seriously love being a missionary! And I know my Heavenly Father hears my prayers and really does comfort me. I know he put me with this district for a reason. I love these people with all of my heart. He really does know exactly what He's doing, doesn't he ;)

December 19

These first few days have been a total blur! My companion Sister Egbert is great! I just got made senior companion tonight haha. But my district is amazing! But only me and Sis Egbert are going to Jacksonville, the rest are going to South Carolina. The rest of the kids going to jacksonville are in a whole different district. Including Sister merchant... Of course. haha. But I'm doing really great! I haven't felt the homesickness too bad... I haven't even cried. I think I'm still in shock haha. Our P days are on Thursdays just so you know. My teachers are really good looking... that really sucks.. and they're all single hahahha. About 786 missionaries came in yesterday! crazy right?? I've been seeing so many kids from high school it's insane. I think I've seen about 9 people i know? I got to sit next to Elder Thompson (Brian. We went on that date.) in a workshop. But I love all the other girls in my district and my elders are the bomb. I love you guys! Hope you don't miss me too much ;) You'll probably hear from me a week from today! Lovvvveeeee yyoouuuu!!
